Deborah S. Lear, 63, passed away April 19, 2017. She was born October 13, 1953 in Middleburg, Florida where she also resided.Deborah was sergeant of Communications at the Clay County Sheriff's Office, 18 years. She retired early because Post Polio Syndrome impaired her mobility. She met her husband on 'Christian Matchmakers' in 1998 and they were soon married and lived 10 years in Hollister CA. They returned to Middleburg in 2007 and built Deborah's dream home. Debbie was very talented in many arts, such as needle-point, cross stitch, stained glass. She loved plants and knew...

Deborah S. Lear, 63, passed away April 19, 2017. She was born October 13, 1953 in Middleburg, Florida where she also resided.Deborah was sergeant of Communications at the Clay County Sheriff's Office, 18 years. She retired early because Post Polio Syndrome impaired her mobility. She met her husband on 'Christian Matchmakers' in 1998 and they were soon married and lived 10 years in Hollister CA. They returned to Middleburg in 2007 and built Deborah's dream home. Debbie was very talented in many arts, such as needle-point, cross stitch, stained glass. She loved plants and knew the botanical names of hundreds of plants. Nurseries' were astonished at her knowledge of plants and often offered her a job! Mrs. Lear is survived by her loving husband of 19 years; Jeffrey Lear, 3 brothers; Donald Mosley of Middleburg, FL, Jerry Mosley of Middleburg, FL and Ronald Mosley of Eatonton, GA and 1 sister; Betty Jo Brown of Middleburg, FL. A memorial service will be held at Black Pond Baptist Church May 13th @ 10:00 AM, a luncheon will follow the memorial service: Location, 3644 Old Jennings Road Middleburg, Florida 32068 with officiate Rev.
